- 1I can make a balance sheet tally to the paisa — but ask me to split a dinner bill three ways and I'll still reach for a calculator.
- 2I audit inventories for a living and I run my kitchen the same way: everything labelled, nothing expired, zero shrinkage. My spice rack has better internal controls than most companies.
- 3Chess taught me to think three moves ahead — which is basically tax planning with a clock. I've never met a deadline I couldn't checkmate.
- 4I've filed returns under two tax systems — Indian and US. So yes, I know Section 80C and Form 1040, and I still can't explain why either one has so many schedules.
